Pre-listening Notes:  The Cardigans are one of my favorite bands.  In terms of female voices, for my money, there is nobody better than this Swedish beauty.  Between The Cardigans discography and her two albums with her other soloish project, A Camp, I listen to her at least every few weeks, or so.  This has been going on now for a few years shy of two decades.  I've been very excited to hear this album.

Initial Reaction:  Opens up with a song that's been floating around the internet for a while.  Nice, slightly upbeat song which fits in nicely with pretty much anything she has recorded before.  Her voice still puts a spell on me.  I really can't stress how much I enjoy listening to her sing.

Random Thoughts:  Piano and vocals start out song 2 with a super pretty melody.  The whole song is a little more subdued than the first song, but still has that big pop feel to it.  Each song, as soon as the vocals pop in, just sounds warming and like I've heard it a million times before.  Some of the drums on this track, Clip Your Wings, sound drum machiney, but it could just be my imagination.  The song Food For The Beast has also been out for a couple weeks.  But, this is another awesome song that is just classic sounding Nina.  There is a mostly Synth short segue song, before another mellower song, but with catchy vocals.

Final Reaction:  It's not The Cardigans album, which if we get another one, I'll be super happy.  But, this is absolutely something I will be listening to again and again.  If you like good, mellow, female fronted pop-rock music, you'll probably dig this.

Final Grade:  9.0/10
