Pre-listening Notes: All I know is they are apparently an Australian hardcore band. That's the extent of what I know going in. That and the Euros get me every time with their date structure. I thought at first this wasn't coming out until October 1st, but it was really January 10th. Also, I wonder if they took their name from the Righteous Jams song.
Initial Reaction: It's got some heaviness to it. I think I can hear his accent coming through in his yells and it seems kinda funny. But, it's got fast parts and some heaviness and I don't hate it so far. It's got a NYHC feel to it.
Random Thoughts: I could see being super into this about 5 years ago. Not that I'm not into it right now, but I would have gone nuts over this back then. I like this more than Backtrack that's for sure, which is becoming a theme for me. So far each song has me moving along in my seat as I listen to it, which is pretty good. Honestly, so far after 5 songs, the little tinges of his accent creeping is the only complaint I have.
Final Reaction: I really don't have many complaints about this, musically they do it well, vocally outside of his accent I really have no complaints. I don't have too much to say about this outside of the fact that it is a solid release.
Final Grade: 7.5/10
